Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely! As all of my dresses are made to order, your dress will not only be made to your measurements but to your specification as well, meaning that your dress is fully customisable. Whether this is a custom sleeve, a lace trim or your initials embroidered into your dress for an extra special touch, your dress will be uniquely yours.

  • Yes, during your initial fitting we will discuss fabrics and you will be provided with a fabric card to take home if you are still undecided. Recommendations of fabrics per dress style will be provided.

  • I always want to make sure that my brides feel as comfortable as possible when visiting my studio. I hold a range of samples from sizes UK 4-20. It is helpful to let us know before your appointment which styles you are interested in so we can try our best to accommodate your preferences.

  • We’ll contact you to arrange your first measurement appointment at the right stage in your timeline. If your body changes significantly after the first fitting (due to weight fluctuations, pregnancy, etc.), additional fittings or adjustments may be needed, these may carry an extra charge.

  • When you have confirmed, we ask for a non-refundable deposit, which covers your design consultation, fabric sourcing, pattern drafting, and initial production. This amount (detailed in your invoice) is deducted from your final dress price. Once you’ve paid your deposit, we’ll officially begin crafting your dress!

After your First Fitting, we’ll send you an invoice for the remaining balance, which must be paid within 7 days. We kindly ask that full payment is made before we schedule further fittings or release your dress. Late payments may affect your timeline, so staying on schedule helps keep everything running smoothly.

  • We recommend bringing your shoes if you already have them, however we also provide shoes for the fitting.

At your first fitting, it’s helpful to bring a few bra options (with the tags still on), so you can see which works best under your dress. Once you’ve decided, we’ll make sure the fit of your dress complements your chosen underwear perfectly.

  • You are welcome to bring 2 guests to your appointment.

  • We recommend starting to look for your dress 6-8 months before your wedding date.

  • We suggest dying and/or adjusting (shortening, removing sleeves etc). Depending on your requirements we can work on this for you or suggest somewhere to have this completed.

  • Yes! We offer a range of veil styles which are also customisable.
